Sewing became a hobby of mine during the first UK lockdown of 2020 which led me to discovering historical fashions and the concept of historybounding; that is, bringing elements of historical clothing design and construction into my modern-day wardrobe. Since then, I’ve also introduced knitting into my life as a much more portable crafting hobby that I can do on the tube, bus, or even just while watching TV in the evening.

This blog is a way for me to document my makes, research, and to share with others the work I do in my spare time.  Much of it fits squarely into the slow-living movement which, as someone living in London and working in technology is something that I love to pull into my day to day.

So stick around if you like what you see and want to find out what I'm up to; maybe I can inspire you to take up your sewing needle and craft something of your own!
