• Panicked sewing the night before resulted in an only outwardly appearing finished dress that I could wear to a friend’s wedding on Saturday

  • The fitted waist and boning meant it stayed up without straps with no issue despite dancing

  • The fitted waist and boning also meant that eating the wedding meal was slightly uncomfortable

• Wedding place settings included a lotto scratchcard but sadly no one at our table won anything more than £2

• IKEA decided not to deliver our kitchen on Sunday and can’t redeliver until next weekend

  • Apparently the counter tops were held up at customs and didn’t arrive at the depot in time and so they just didn’t deliver anything to us - although they were listed as a separate delivery on the order

• Bell ringing was great fun! Rang some more rounds and rang my first changes - it’s a lot harder than it looks but it’ll be great to see myself getting better.
