Weeknotes #1
I've recently been introduced to the concept of weeknotes in my professional life as a developer and want to give them a go in my personal life too. So this is hopefully going to be the first in a series.
Weeknotes don't follow a set style or format so they're likely to be different week-to-week but I'm hoping this will be an easier way to keep track of my sewing, and now, knitting adventures as well as a place to share a little more from my life as I won't need to spend time writing a big blog post about a completed project with pictures.
This week I’ve started the process of moving this website from Wordpress to Squarespace which has really shown me just how much more versatile the site editing options are on Squarespace compared to what I’ve got used to. Hopefully the UX will encourage me to be a bit more active and consistent with creating content.
I’ve been planting some tomatoes, strawberries, and chillis over the last few weeks and my first seedlings have appeared. In preparation for the warmer spring weather coming soon I’ve bought a couple of mini greenhouses and some plantpots for when they’re ready to transplant out into our garden.
Quite a lot of progress has been made on my current knitting WIPs: the heel flap has just about been started on my Hermione’s Everyday Socks and I’m just a few rows short of joining the front and back yokes on my Moby Sweater.
I’ve also decided on my next sewing project and have cut out the pattern over the weekend. Currently deciding on fabric but I’m quite excited about this one!
