Weeknote #38

• Finished and blocked my Oslo hat just in time for the sub-zero temperatures!

• Made a gauge swatch for Nick’s Moby Sweater so I’m ready to start it once I finish my bougie sweater

• Went to my first Wassail

  • There was a Green Man and his Wassail Queen who toasted the apple tree by dipping toast into some cider in the wassail pot then hanging it on the tree

  • We all sang wassail carols and it was followed by a ceilidh

  • The whole event was thoroughly pagan and only slightly unhinged but lots of fun!

• Test drove a couple of cars and reserved one to buy next week
