Weeknote #20

• My dad’s jumper fits him beautifully! So proud of how it turned out and how neat the stitching looks

• Saw Matilda with my mum - possibly the best Matilda and Trunchball we’ve ever seen

• Saw Groundhog Day at The Old Vic with mum, dad, and Nick - a seriously impressive show with lots of very clever staging and a few earworms that I can’t get out of my head

• Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London - really interesting ceremony, thankfully the weather was dry!

  • Apparently the ceremony is always at 9:30pm every single day and has only ever been late once which was due to a bomb falling just behind the escort of the Keys causing a fire and casulties requiring emergency service assistance

• Tried a new gym class (shred) which was hard but definitely worth it

• Didn’t get a sale access code for the Taylor Swift UK shows general sale

• Bought some 4ply merino wool in the WoolyKnit summer sale - hopefully bought enough to try making a colourwork jumper or cardigan although I don’t have a pattern in mind yet
