Weeknote #14

• Competition weekend in Telford - we hit zero and came 2nd!

  • There’s literally nothing in Telford except the International Centre and the shopping centre

• Cute team rainbow picnic to celebrate our success

  • Each person brought food of a certain colour - I was red

• Great coffee cup for the train journey to Telford from The Pasty Shop

• First bell ringing lesson - practiced the backstroke and the handstroke (pulling and recatching the sally) plus getting the bell to rest on the balance

• Had dumplings for the first time! Apparently the gluten free ones were very different to usual dumplings but they were tasty all the same

• Saw Operation Mincemeat for the second time

  • During the interval, we were already looking at booking again for next month to bring more friends!

  • Saw two alternates in the performance - they were both amazing (as you’d expect!)

• Collected my sewing machine after its service

  • Can’t wait to give it a go now I have it back
