  • Reached my 10th weeknote!

  • Making progress on grey jumper gift knit

    • Working on the front and back panels TAAT to avoid finishing the back and giving up

  • First tomato plant has been transplanted into the grow bag in my green house

  • Visited Hampton Court Palace for the Tulip Festival

    • Favourite tulips were the ones with fringed petals

  • First Lime bike trips and I’m fully converted by e-bikes. If only they weren’t so expensive…

  • Finished my Victorian chemise and it’s everything I hoped for - perfect nightie and for under a corset

  • Dropped my sewing machine off for its first ever service - after 4 years it’s probably about time

  • Got my first filling at the dentist and promptly treated myself to some art to hang on the wall of our kitchen

  • Girls trip to Bath - first visit since a couple of months after graduation in 2017

    • Spa trip to the Thermae Bath Spa which was an end of year exams treat every year at university

    • Thaikhun dinner was delicious

    • Portofino’s for seafood was heavenly - the best moules marinière I’ve ever had!

    • So many gluten free breakfasts:

      • Potato cake at Rosario’s

      • Pancakes and smashed avocado at Sweet Little Things

      • Poached eggs at Boston Tea Party

    • Trips to two yarn shops:

      • A Yarn Story - Knitting for Olive merino x3 in dusty artichoke

      • Wool - 2 skeins Manos del Uruguay Alegria in the Jacaranda colourway and a skein of Woolf Wool DK in the colourway Elderberry
