Weeknote #34

• Finished up our Dutch holiday with a weekend in The Hague to visit my university friend

  • We went for a birthday dinner at De Resident for a fabulous steak

  • Visited the beach for a walk along the coast

  • My friend cooked a family recipe for us on our final evening which was so good we left her with nothing! And her partner made delicious giant cream puffs for dessert

• My team at work had our Christmas lunch and gift exchange

• Tapas dinner with some friends which was a lovely way to catch up with each other ahead of Christmas

• I picked up some paint samples to try and pick colours for the spare room - current plan is a purple feature wall and off-white on the other walls

• Got the Christmas decorations up!

• Rang for the Merton mayor’s Christmas concert event - I led from bell 3 while we were ringing the minor 5 bells
