Weeknote #40
I added a cotton label into my newly completed bougie sweater which is completely necessary for my jumpers so I can just throw them on rather than spending a few minutes holding them up and figuring out what’s the front and the back!
This new jumper is very warm and pretty wind-proof so it’s got quite a bit of wear already this week
Finished the back yoke and shoulders of Nick’s Moby sweater
I’m remembering that this jumper isn’t as fun while it’s being worked flat but I’m looking forward to getting the front finished and joined in the round
At the weekend, we drove out to Bodiam Castle to try out my new car on the motorway. It’s such a classic example of a castle with a moat (which was partially frozen when we visited) although most of the interiors are crumbled away so there’s not too much to walk around but it was nice to get out of London for the day
This week at bell ringing, I successfully called into Queens on six and back to rounds from the treble - I really feel like I’ve made a lot of progress in the last few months and it’s still just as fun as it was when I first started
I got some new glasses! My plastic frames kept sliding down my face so I ordered some new ones a couple of weeks ago and picked them up this week
