Weeknote #6

Love a four day work week. It’s annual review season and I’m running a department-wide social next week so much of my working hours were taken up by admin this week which was a refreshing change from the usual developing work.

On Wednesday evening, I went to see Eugenius at the Turbine Theatre in Battersea with a friend. This was my 6th time seeing this particular show since first seeing it in a run at The Other Palace back in 2018 as I’ve taken different groups of friends and enjoyed the recording they released during the 2020 lockdowns. It’s an incredibly fun night out and the songs are always stuck in my head for weeks after.

I’m tantalisingly close to finishing the Moby Sweater that’s been on my needles for the last 5 weeks - I think tomorrow will be the day since I’ve only got the double knitting rows and tubular bind off of the body left.

This weekend I’m cat sitting for some old neighbours - one is an absolute sweetie and loves attention, the other treats me with cautious suspicion at all times. Enjoy the cat tax below.
