Weeknote #43

• I got Nick to try on the sock I’d been working on for him as I completed the heel flap and turn but it absolutely didn’t fit at all!

  • As a result, I put that sock in timeout for frogging later and cast on a new sock with the same yarn but added another 8 stitches. Once I had a decent amount of the leg made I got him to try the sock on again and the new count fits well

  • Men’s sock stitch count: 72 stitches

  • The new sock is now done up to the middle of the foot!

• I’ve also been continuing to work on the Moby sweater - I don’t have the excitement of it being a new pattern to keep me working on it exclusively but it’s still enjoyable

• I had my leaving drinks on Tuesday which was great fun and Wednesday was then spent very hungover
