Final week at Global - very bittersweet and lots of friends I’ll miss seeing regularly but excited for the next adventure
My unofficial leaving drinks were my last Tuesday pub night with my team. Everyone worked very hard together to make sure I was double parked with pink gin and lemonades all evening
I finished my evening at home with a pint of water and two slices of toast
Wednesday’s hangover was worse than last weeks but I dragged myself to knitting club regardless and had a great evening
After the number of Taskmaster themed socials I’ve organised at work, it’s only fitting my leaving gift was Taskmaster themed!
I finished my first colour work mitten! Using a pattern from the Selbu Mittens book I got a few weeks ago I’ve managed to get the hang of continental stranded colour work - my tension needs some work but I’m so proud of it!
Our daffodils and crocuses are blooming abundantly
